Asphalt Paving
Asphalt is a strong, durable, hard surface used for residential and commercial applications. Asphalt is composed of sand, stone and liquid asphalt and when installed properly it will add significant value to your home or business.
Tar & Chip
Tar & chip is an application used to give an exposed aggregrate look with the durability of asphalt. Tar & chip is not a cheaper alternative due to its labor-intensive application.
Seal Coating & Repair
Seal coating is the application of an emulsion or oil based liquid material to an asphalt surface by either a brush or spray technique. Asphalt sealant is recommended to reduce cracking and to keep your surface looking new. The sealant protects the surface from water that might settle into pores, then freeze and cause cracking by the expanding ice.
Gravel Driveways
Crushed gravel is used in a variety of driveway applications – most commonly as a base for asphalt paving. It offers the best compaction rate of any material used in driveway installation, and costs much less than stone or concrete. Crushed gravel driveways enhance the curb appeal of homes and last up to four times longer than asphalt paving before needing major maintenance or repairs.
Driveway Extensions
Driveway extensions can be installed using a variety of materials, including asphalt, crushed gravel, or decorative stone. While they are most commonly used for additional parking, driveway extensions also provide an increase in usable space for a wide variety of recreational activities.
Grading
Grading is an important part of the maintenance process for gravel and stone driveways. Over time, loose gravel can cause portions of the driveway to settle, resulting in unwanted pot holes and ruts. Grading can maximize the longevity of your gravel driveway and help cut down on long term repair and maintenance costs.
Excavation
Excavation and site clearing are important parts of the asphalt paving process. Proper site preparation helps reduce the risk of asphalt failure, which leads to costly repairs and in most cases complete removal and replacement. Both excavation and site clearing services are also beneficial for new construction projects, especially building foundation and sewer installations.
